J. Mario Molina,

CEO and Chairman
Molina Healthcare, Inc.
Dr. Molina has been the CEO and Chairman of Molina
Healthcare since 1997 where he previously served as
Medical Director. He was an Associate Investigator for
the Veterans Administration from 1987 to 1990 before
joining the faculty of the University of Southern California
School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine
from 1990 to1991. He is a member of the California Medical
Association, American Diabetes Association, American
College of Physicians, and the American Osler Society.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology
and Metabolism and is chairman of the board of the Aquarium
of the Pacific and serves on the board of Homeboy Industries.
Dr. Molina received his undergraduate degree from California
State University, Long Beach in 1980 and his medical degree
from the University of Southern California in 1984. He
performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine
at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship in Endocrinology
and Metabolism at University of California San Diego.
Dr. Molina is married with five children.
