Ms. Stratton is the Executive Director/CEO of the San Bernardino County Medical Society (SBCMS), Inland Wellness Information Network (IWIN), and the Physicians Memorial Gift & Benevolence Fund (PMGBF), San Bernardino County based non-profit corporations. She has worked for the three organizations for 31 years.
SBCMS, founded in 1878, is a professional membership organization comprised of over 1,700 physicians practicing medicine in San Bernardino County. Its purpose is to promote and develop the art and the science of medicine, to conserve and protect the public health and to promote the betterment of the medical profession. SBCMS works closely with the California Medical Association and the American Medical Association. SBCMS physician members serve on nearly 20 committees that address issues dealing with health education, communications, legislative advocacy, legal services, environmental health, member benefits and public service programs.
IWIN, founded in 1972, is a 501 C (3) non profit corporation designed to promote public health by disseminating medical knowledge and information to the general public without charge. IWIN's programs and projects contribute significantly to the quality of life in the Inland Empire. The Medical Reserve Corps is one example of IWIN’s community outreach programs. The MRC was established in 2003 to provide an organized framework for healthcare professionals and other volunteers to supplement existing local emergency and public health resources in emergency situations such as wildfires, floods, epidemics, acts of terrorism, and natural or man-made disasters.
PMGBF, founded in 1987, is a 501 C (3) nonprofit public benefit corporation. The specific purposes of this corporation are to grant financial aid and assistance to needy persons of San Bernardino County; explore the need of granting scholarships to students for medical education; support the research of and history of medicine, preserve the associated medical memorabilia, and promote and display the arts and crafts of physicians.
Ms. Stratton earned her BA Degree in Business Administration from the California State University, San Bernardino.
