Quality Payment Program

Delivery System Reform, Medicare Payment Reform, & MACRA On April 27th CMS issued its first proposed regulation on MACRA, detailing elements of the Quality Payment Program (MIPS/APMs) that will change reimbursement under Medicare Part B.  If you haven’t seen the announcement, details can be found at the CMS website at http://go.cms.gov/QualityPaymentProgram.  On that site is a list of details, including a fact sheet on the elements of the new program. CalHIPSO seeks physicians to sign up for free practice transformation assistance The California Health Information Partnership and Services Organization (CalHIPSO) is applying for a grant from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to give California physicians access to free health practice improvement tools and services that would normally be cost prohibitive.
