20 October Creating a Movement for Change: Latino Physicians of California Symposium October 20, 2016By CMA Foundation General, NEPO Latino Physicians of California Symposium. 0 Latino leaders, healthcare professionals, legislators, and experts throughout California will come together to discuss and lead a movement to better serve the healthcare needs of Latinos at the inaugural Latino Physicians of California Symposium this month. Highlights of the Symposium include opportunities to: Meet, greet and network with legislators, physician leaders, health executives, and health professionals; Discuss how to better serve the health care/access needs of Latinos; Find out about mentoring initiatives needed to employ to train and support Latinos on their path to the healthcare professions; and, Help develop an advocacy approach needed to bring about lasting change. There will also be CME and CE units available. The Symposium will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the New York Life Insurance Building in Glendale, California.
