Latino leaders, healthcare professionals, legislators, and experts throughout California will come together to discuss and lead a movement to better serve the healthcare needs of Latinos at the inaugural Latino Physicians of California Symposium this month. National Minority Quality Forum 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health Awards, Applications Open

The National Minority Quality Forum announced it is accepting nominations for the 2017 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health Awards, honoring influential young minority leaders making a difference in healthcare. They encourage a wide range of health professionals to apply: physicians, pharmacists, dentists, anesthesiologists, nurses, policy experts, researchers, and others. All nominations are to be submitted online here. Nominations will be accepted until January 16, 2017. Honorees will be awarded at the Congressional Black Caucus Spring Health Braintrust Gala in Washington, DC with special guest CBC Health Braintrust Chair Congresswoman Robin Kelly.
